I’ve come to really enjoy this site. It’s a news aggregator but unlike, say, Google, it does a really good job of separating opinion from straight news. Once you get past the top story and the Google ads, it’s quite simple. Comments on the left, news on the right. Comments get headshots and news items get photos that illustrate the story. Nice clean layout to boot.
It even tosses in the occasional blog link, though usually only to blogs written by journalists like David Akin.
There’s nothing particularly fancy about the site, nor anything cutting edge. Which is why I was so surprised that it’s taken me this long to find one like it.
