To be perfectly honest, I don’t remember if I did the pumpkin carving when I was young or not. I must have helped, surely, but my brother did grow up to be an aircraft mechanic so I’m guessing he must have done most of the precision work.
Anyway, this is the first year Mrs. 42 Points (h/t to Ed Lee for the wife naming scheme) and I have been in a place that might actually get trick or treaters. So we figured we should have a pumpkin. I did the carving.
